My paycheck is or was late this fall or I have been paid late in the past. A class I was assigned to teach was cancelled/my hours were cut. I am ready to take action with our union to demand respect and on-time pay.

Late Pay

For the Fall 2026 semester, teaching adjuncts are scheduled to be paid on eight successive adjunct pay dates.

Senior colleges: first pay date is Thurs, Sept. 3 and the last pay date is Thurs, Dec. 10.
Most Community colleges: first pay date is Fri, Sept. 11 and the last is Fri, Dec. 18.
LaGuardia, Kingsborough, and Guttman community colleges: first pay date is Fri Sept. 25 and last is Fri Dec 31

Class Cancellation

Name of class(es) that were cancelled and the department

If you are in a non-teaching adjunct or other part-time title and your hours were cut, please tell us how many hours you expected and how many hours you have after the cut.

Date you received notice that you were assigned to teach the class/work the assigned hours

Date you received notice of cancelation of the class/the reduction of your assigned hours

What was the impact of your class being cancelled/your hours being cut (i.e. loss of CUNY heath insurance, loss of wages, etc.)?
